My last deforum music video took me almost 500 computing units on Google Colab. So I’ve decided to make the switch to paperspace.com and recorded a video tutorial to help you do the same.
Before getting started, make sure you have the following:
An account on Paperspace. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up here.
Access to Paperspace Gradient. Gradient is the platform you'll be using to set up and run the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI. You can find more information about Gradient here.
Log in to your Paperspace account and navigate to the Gradient console.
Click on "Workspaces" in the left sidebar.
Create a new workspace by clicking on the "New Workspace" button.
Select the desired region, machine type, and storage size for your workspace. For running the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI, it is recommended to choose a machine with a high GPU configuration.
Give your workspace a name and click on "Create Workspace".
Once your workspace is created, click on its name to access the workspace dashboard.
On the dashboard, click on the "Files" tab.
Upload the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI files to your workspace by either dragging and dropping them or using the "Upload" button.
Once the files are uploaded, navigate to the terminal by clicking on the "Terminal" tab.
Run the necessary installation commands to set up the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI environment. Make sure to follow the instructions provided in the documentation.
Once the environment is set up, you can start the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI by running the appropriate command.
By following these steps, you should now have successfully set up the Deforum Stable Diffusion WebUI on Paperspace Gradient. Now you can start creating amazing AI art projects with the power of Paperspace's computing units.
